INDIANA BAKERIES

Indianapolis - Broad Ripple
Every Dog Counts

Every Dog Counts Rescue (EDCR) is a non-profit all-volunteer organization founded to save the lives of dogs in high-kill shelters in Indianapolis and the Midwest. Dogs facing death row are pulled from these shelters and live in our foster homes and receive veterinary care while awaiting transport to our rescue partners in areas of the country with less pet over-population, or until we find a loving home for them locally
Indianapolis - Mass Ave
FACE - Low cost spay/neuter

The Foundation Against Companion-Animal Euthanasia (FACE) was formed in July, 1993 for the purpose of establishing programs and policies which would decrease the number of unwanted dogs and cats euthanized in the Indianapolis area each year. Because of the proven effectiveness of low-cost spay/neuter clinics in other cities, its initial efforts were focused on encouraging the Humane Society of Indianapolis or the City of Indianapolis to start such a clinic. Unsuccessful in these efforts, FACE established itself as a 501(c)3 organization and began raising funds to start its own “low-cost, high-volume” spay/neuter clinic in Indianapolis.
Indianapolis - Hamilton Town Center
Humane Society for Hamilton Co.

We believe in second chances… and third… and fourth… In fact, we believe every adoptable animal deserves every chance at finding a forever home. That’s why we operate as Indiana’s only open admission truly no-kill shelter. Any animal that can be saved, rehabilitated, or treated is never euthanized. That’s our promise to them… and to you. After all, one of them may be your soulmate.

PENNSYLVANIA BAKERIES
Kingston
Blue Chip Animal Refuge

Here at BCF, there is a steadfast belief that every life matters. We work, every day, to provide the very best care possible to each of our animals. Most creatures end up with us because of circumstances beyond their control. Abuse, abandonment, illness, and aging bring many paws to our doorstep, where we happily take them in and care for them until they find a forever home, or for as long as they need us to.

SPCA of Luzerne County

The SPCA’s mission is the prevention of cruelty to animals by providing:
  • Shelter for unwanted, discarded, neglected, and often abused animals.
  • An adoption program to place these animals into caring, permanent homes.
  • Humane educations programs to enlighten the public about animal problems.
  • Humane law enforcement and prosecution programs to address animal cruelty.
